Summary: Pouring back into yourself- This group is for those of us who wear many hats and consistently give our time, space, and energy to other people, for those who feel drained because they always go above and beyond for others, even if it hurts them. They don't think about how much they are giving until it is time to pour into themselves, and they can't. They may feel depleted and have nothing left to give for themselves. They don't know the first thing about taking care of themselves. But, together, we can begin to learn how to take those steps and pour energy, space, and love back into ourselves.

  • Day: Tuesdays Time: 5 pm

Summary: This group is for anyone who has ever had a traumatic experience. You can experience a traumatic event years ago and be unaware of the effect it had on you. You think everything is fine, and then BOOM; suddenly, something randomly sends you into a confusing cycle of reactive behavior. This event may even confuse, frustrate, or scare you. It could be certain sounds, loud noises, smells, sights, or repeated dreams that remind you of an unpleasant experience. It can be sudden, very painful, and possibly difficult to identify initially. We don’t always recognize how or why we are being provoked. Triggers are a part of the human experience. Triggers are there to warn you, and this group will encourage you to understand better how the triggers can change your behavior.

Sometimes, dreams can resurface subconscious feelings, thoughts, and memories that manifest in several ways. In this group, we will process and get a deeper understanding of triggers through psychoeducation. It will be a secure and safe space where everyone can express their experiences, whether good or bad. Everyone can learn how to use these warning signs to release negative thoughts, feelings, or emotions. Which may have been caused by something that may or may not have been under your control.
