Our FAQ’s
What types of appointments do you all do?
We primarily focus on telehealth so that we can serve the most people possible, but we also have the ability to see clients in our office and make site visits as well on a case-by-case basis.
What forms of payment do you all take?
We primarily accept self-pay clients and we are able to support payment by various means such as credit cards and ACH based methods. Clients with private insurance and Medicaid are also seen on a case-by-case basis.
What services do you offer?
We offer a range of services tailored to meet the needs of our clients, including individual therapy, group therapy, family counseling, and specialized programs for anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our telehealth services allow us to provide these offerings conveniently, while in-person appointments are available for select services based on client needs. We also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to support clients in processing trauma and promoting healing.
How do I schedule an appointment?
We are currently only accepting new clients that are self-pay or with verified and pre-authorized private insurance. If you are a existing client all you need to do to click here to login to the Client Portal. Please review our policies on cancellation below. To schedule an appointment, you can visit our website and use our online booking system.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
During your first appointment, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we will discuss your concerns and goals. We will gather some background information and may ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire. This session typically lasts about 60 minutes and is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about our services.
What is your cancellation policy?
We issue no refunds as all of our self-pay clients pay during the scheduling process. For those that we accept with private insurance, your co-pay must be paid during scheduling and you will be responsible for the entire amount of the appointment if you fail to reschedule or if your insurance refuses to pay after your scheduled visit. We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We appreciate your understanding as this helps us serve all our clients effectively. For clients that are accepted with Medicaid we will comply with the laws as set out by that agency.
Do you offer services for specific populations (e.g., children, seniors)?
Yes, we offer specialized services for various populations, including children, adolescents, and seniors. Our trained professionals are equipped to address the unique needs of each group, ensuring that all clients receive appropriate and effective care.
How do you ensure client confidentiality?
Client confidentiality is our top priority. We adhere to strict privacy policies and comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA. All sessions, whether in-person or via telehealth, are conducted in a secure and private manner, and your personal information is kept confidential.
What technology do I need for a telehealth appointment?
For a telehealth appointment, you will need a device with a camera and microphone, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone. A stable internet connection is essential for a smooth experience. We recommend using a quiet, private space for your session to minimize distractions.
Are there any resources or support materials available?
Yes, we provide a variety of resources and support materials on our website, including articles, self-help tools, and links to community support services. We also offer workshops and webinars on various mental health topics, which you can find here or on our socials.
